VIDEO: Dale Steyn dismissed Suresh Raina with a terrific yorker in IPL 2019

The South African pacer, Dale Steyn is one of the greatest pacers in the game of cricket. He is undoubtedly a wicket-taking bowler for his country across all formats of the game. He has announced his retirement from the longest format of the game with 439 wickets to his tally in 2019. However, he is looking to dominate the batsmen in the T20 format after recovering from the shoulder injury.

In 2019, he was drafted into the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad at the middle of the season. In his first game of IPL 2019, he could pick 2 wickets but conceded 40 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders. In his second game, his extraordinary bowling performance helped his side to clinch the thriller against the Chennai Super Kings.

During the 39th match of the IPL 2019 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings at the Chinnaswamy stadium, the CSK skipper elected to bowl first after winning the toss. Parthiv Patel's quickfire 53 and a quick cameo's from AB de Villiers, Akshdeep Nath and Moeen Ali helped them to post a decent total of 161 on the board. Though it was a batting-friendly wicket, CSK bowlers did well to restrict RCB to a decent score.

But, the right-arm pacer from South Africa came out of syllabus for the visitors. Steyn could pick up the wicket of Shane Watson with a terrific outswinger on the fifth ball of the first over. The ever consistent Suresh Raina, who came at number three, had to face the final ball of the first over. Dale Steyn was in amazing form and bowled a terrific yorker to disturb the furniture.

The left-handed cricketer has gone for a golden duck. CSK lost their four wickets inside the powerplay overs. However, their skipper gave a mild opportunity to his team. CSK needed 26 runs off the last over and the skipper made this tally read 2 off the final delivery. But, MS Dhoni could not connect the ball and had to run for a bye. But, the wicket-keeper, Parthiv Patel was quick enough to run Thakur out. RCB won the thrilling game by a margin of 1 run.
