Dwayne Bravo sends an Emotional Message For all Chennai Super Kings Fans

Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has been ruled out of the rest of the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League after sustaining a groin injury. However, before leaving the CSK camp half-way and returning back home on Thursday, he urged fans to keep supporting the team although they failed to match up to their previous results this season and this has become a rather forgettable season not only for them but also for fans as well.

CSK have already been going through a bad phase not only with their performances on the field but off the field too. Ever since they have reached Dubai, 13 members of their franchise tested positive for the global pandemic novel COVID-19.

And, then their key players – Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh has pulled out their names from the cash-rich league due to personal reasons and now Dwayne Bravo’s injury became a massive blow to them. However, the team is on the verge of getting out of the league this season with back-to-back losses.

'It's sad news, it's sad to be leaving my team CSK. To all our CSK fans, I want you all to keep encouraging the team, keep supporting, all the true die-hard CSK fans,' Bravo has said in a video message posted by the CSK on their official Twitter handle.

'This wasn't a season we expected or our fans wanted, but we gave it our best. Sometimes, despite giving our best, the results don't show.' Bravo further added.

'Keep supporting us and I can guarantee you we're going to come back stronger and better like champions. One of the most successful franchises, I feel we should be proud to be members and fans of CSK.' He again shared.

Bravo, who is considered as one of the key players of the CSK team over the years, couldn't bowl the final over in their game against Delhi Capitals in Sharjah on October 17 and they lost the game too.

This season, he had played six games and scored only seven runs in two innings. However, he picked up six wickets which came at an economy rate of 8.57. With seven defeats from ten games, they are now placed at the bottom of the points table.
