Riyan Parag reveals what his mother said after his poor performance against PBKS

The phase 2 of IPL 2021 is going ahead at a great speed now. A total of 5 matches have already been played since it's resumption and fans are going crazy after it. Delhi side is leading the charts currently with 7 wins out of nine matches. CSK, RCB, and KKR are holding the rest of the top 4 positions.

The battle between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals was one of the epic nail biting battles which keeps the fans on the edge of their seat. Following Kartik Tyagi's exceptional last over, RR won the match by 2 runs. 

However, the batting performance from the RR side was scattered as not a single batsmen scored the half century. Whereas players like Riyan Parag and Rahul Tewatia ended up scoring the single digit mark. 

Riyan Parag hasn't had the promising performance so far in this year's IPL. Even against PBKS, he produced a disappointing performance with the ball as the spinner leaked 16 runs in the solitary over that he bowled.

Post that match, Riyan got some trolls from the fans but ended up getting the positive response from his mother. The RR star posted the screenshot of the message that his mother sent him. With a 50% win ratio in IPL 2021, RR is currently holding the fifth position on the points ladder. Their next battle is against the Delhi side on 25th September at 3.30 pm. Riyan has so far scored 328 runs and bagged 3 wickets in his IPL career. With Parag trying to hold his position in the playing 11, it would be interesting to see how he performs in the upcoming matches.
