Eventually, Rohit Sharma lost his wicket to Jack Leach in the 73rd over, with the team’s score being 248. Rohit was disappointed with the way he lost his wicket. However, he would be pleased with his effort when he looks back at this performance.

Ritika Sajdeh, Rohit Sharma’s wife was present at the MA Chidambaram Stadium when Rohit played this excellent innings. Many fans would have noticed that Ritika keeps her fingers crossed when Rohit is batting. Since it was a 231-ball knock from Sharma, Sajdeh’s fingers would be hurting a lot.

That’s why after the match, Rohit and his daughter Samaira rubbed Ritika’s fingers. Rohit Sharma posted the following tweet to inform the fans about the same.

The Indian cricket team has gained the upper hand in this Test by dismissing four English batsmen by the 23rd over. Joe Root, last match’s double centurion, has departed to the pavilion as well. It will be interesting to see if the visitors could take the first innings lead this time.
