New Zealand pacer Trent Boult has opened up on his availability for the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League. Many fans would have known by now that the 14th season of IPL will resume later this year in the United Arab Emirates.

Unfortunately, BCCI had to suspend the season midway in May when there were multiple COVID-19 cases in the IPL bio-bubble. Mumbai Indians were slowly gaining momentum in the tournament, and the two-time defending champions will be keen to retain their crown when the competition resumes.

Kiwi fast bowler Trent Boult has been an integral part of the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2020 and 2021. He has formed a lethal combination with Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah in the team. Recently, in a virtual press conference, Boult talked about the remainder of IPL 2021 season.

“Looks like it is moving forward to the UAE where it ran very nicely last year. So if I get the chance, I'll be looking forward to finishing that campaign off nicely," Trent Boult said.

Trent Boult will play for New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship Final against India

The New Zealand cricket team will play two Test matches against England soon. The series will begin on June 2 in London, and then, Edgbaston will play host to the second Test match of this series.

After the New Zealand vs England Test series, the Blackcaps will square off against the Indian cricket team in the inaugural ICC World Test Championship Final. Trent Boult will hold the key to New Zealand’s success in that game.

Boult has troubled India a lot in the international arena. With the conditions in England being helpful to the pace bowlers, Trent will look forward to emerging as a match-winner for his team. The WTC Final will begin on June 18 and end on June 22, with Southampton being the host.
