Mohammed Siraj received a place in the Indian Test squad for the Australian tour. The right-arm fast bowler is warming up for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship series versus Australia with a practice match against Australia ‘A’ at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The Indian cricket team will play a pink-ball Test match for the first time on foreign soil. To ensure that the team is ready to face the likes of Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, and Pat Cummins, the Indians are currently playing a pink-ball practice game versus Australia ‘A’ in Sydney.

The visitors batted first and the duo of Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill provided a solid start to the team. At one moment, the Indian side was 72/1 in 8.4 overs. However, the middle-order collapsed as the Aussies reduced the Indian team to 123/9 in 35.1 overs.

It was then that Jasprit Bumrah came out to bat with Mohammed Siraj in the middle. The two tail-enders added 71 runs for the tenth wicket as the visitors finished with 194 runs on the board. Bumrah surprised everyone by playing a kock of 55 runs. Also, Siraj supported him with a fine inning of 22 runs.

Talking about the special moment of this partnership, Siraj showed his big heart by forgetting about his wicket and going to the middle to check on Cameron Green’s health. One of Jasprit Bumrah’s straight shots hit Green hard on the hard and the bowler fell down.

Siraj rushed from the non-striker’s end to check on him, and even Bumrah joined him then. Cameron was then taken off the field.

The cricket fans have heaped praise on Mohammed Siraj for showing the true Spirit of Cricket in the practice match.
