The excitement level is at the peak as the Pro Kabaddi League 2021 is set to begin in just under 7 days now, with the first match to be played between Bengaluru Bulls and U Mumba, which will be followed by Telugu Titans vs Tamil Thalaivas and defending champions Bengal Warriors taking on UP Yoddha on the opening day.

Pro Kabaddi League is India's premier Kabaddi league that is being contested by 12 teams from across the country. Bengal Warriors is the defending champion of the competition having won it back in 2019 and as the competition was not held in 2020 due to COVID-19.

Pro Kabaddi League 2021 - List of Captains for All Teams

Today, we take a look at all of the captains of the teams that are going to compete in the Pro Kabaddi League. While all the teams have named their captain, Haryana Steelers are yet to name one.

Puneri Paltan - Nitin Tomar

Puneri Paltan will be led by the 26-year-old Nitin Tomar. The raider is no new to the leadership role as he has previously captained the UP Yoddha team. Nitin Tomar is a well known name in PKL history. He made his debut with the Bengal Warriors before joining Puneri Paltan and then joined UP Yoddha and returned back to Paltans after a season with the Yodhha.

Bengaluru Bulls - Pawan Kumar Sehrawat

Bengaluru Bulls will be without their star player Rohit Kumar this year onward. Rohit has been picked up by Telugu Titans during the Auction. Star raider Pawan Kumar Sehrawat will be stepping up this year as the Bengaluru Bulls' captain.

Telugu Titans - Rohit Kumar

Even though Rohit Kumar has jumped ship from Bengaluru to Telugu, the prolific raider will continue leading a team. Rohit was Bengaluru's captain till last season. He will be taking on the command of the Telugu Titans this year.

U Mumba - Fazel Atrachali

U Mumba's star defender from Iran Fazel Atrachali will be once again leading the Mumbai based side. Fazel led the U Mumba side to the semi-finals in the last edition in 2019. The Iranian is once again set to lead the team, and would want this time to go all the way.

Dabang Delhi - Joginder Narwal

The Dabanag Delhi team based in Delhi will be led by the 39-year-old veteran defender Joginder Singh Narwal. Joginder Narwal has been playing in the PKL since 2015, season 2. The Delhi team would want to use his experience to the best of use.

Jaipur Pink Panthers - Deepak Niwas Hooda

Rajasthan based team Jaipur Pink Panthers have showed its faith in their local lad Deepak Niwas Hooda. Deepak Hooda will be leading the team this year after he was retained. Deepak Hooda is one of PKL's greatest ever.

Tamil Thalaivas - Surjeet Singh

The Tamil team Tamil Thalaivas will be led by former Bengal Warriors and Puneri Paltan's captain Surjeet Singh. Surjeet Singh has played 94 PKL matches since season 3 and has scored 278 total tackle points.

UP Yoddha - Nitesh Kumar

Uttar Pradesh's Yoddhas will be led by the 24-year-old Nitesh Kumar. The defender also was the captain of the team last season and led them to the playoffs. Nitesh Kumar was a very vital of that success having scored 75 tackle points.

Patna Pirates - Prashant Kumar Rai

Patna Pirates is the most successful team in the Pro Kabaddi League's history having won the title 3 times. Patna's Pirates will be led by Prashant Kumar Rai this year. The raider played for Haryana Steelers last edition.

Gujarat Giants - Sunil Kumar

Gujarat Giants is set to continue with their captain Sunil Kumar, whom will be leading the team for the 3rd year in a row. Under him, Gujarat reached the finals of the PKL 2018, but lost to Bengaluru Bulls, but this time, they will look to do one better.

Bengal Warriors - Maninder Singh

The defending champions of the Pro Kabaddi League, Bengal Warriors is also set to continue with their star raider and captain Maninder Singh. Bengal Warriors reached the final for the first and won the trophy, and captain Maninder Singh played a huge role in it.
