3 players RCB Women's Team might release before the next season

RCB had a poor outing in the first season of WPL. Despite having a good squad on paper, the team filed to do well on the field. Nevertheless, the team showed some decent form in the final stages and is aware of the weaknesses right now. Hence, they will be expected to come back stronger next season. On that note, in this article, we take a look at three players RCB Women's Team might release before the next season.

1) Renuka Singh Thakur

Before the season, many expected Renuka Thakur to pick a lot of wickets. However, she failed and in the end, RCB used Sophie Devine an Elysse Perry at the start. Since she also has a big price tag, RCB could release her and instead focus on getting a good spinner in the setup. This would help the team a long way for the next season.

2) Dane van Niekerk

Dane van Niekerk is one of the players whom the RCB Women's Team might release before the next season. The South African all-rounder did not even get a single game in WPL 2023. RCB might release her as she does not suit the combination. Instead, they can invest in a proper overseas spinner who can change games as this was one weakness that RCB displayed in the recently concluded campaign for them.

3) Preeti Bose

The capped cricketer did not appear to be in good form in WPL 2023. RCB could release her as they have already discovered the likes of Asha Shobana and Shreyanka Patil, who can do the job for the spin department. Hence, Preeti is also a part of this list.
