3 players whom RCB could have picked as replacement for Will Jacks instead of Michael Bracewell

RCB has been dealt a blow ahead of IPL 2023. Will Jacks, who had been in good form, has been ruled out of IPL 2023. As per reports, the franchise is likely to pick Michael Bracewell as his replacement. On that note, in this article, we take a look at three players whom RCB could have picked as the replacement for Will Jacks instead of Michael Bracewell.

1) Dasun Shanaka

Dasun Shanaka is in stunning form, especially in India. RCB needs more power in the lower middle-order and the Sri Lankan skipper has a fine experience to do that. Moreover, he can also give a few overs with the ball. Therefore, Shanaka could have been a decent choice.

2) Travis Head

Travis Head is one of the players whom RCB could have picked as the replacement for Will Jacks instead of Michael Bracewell. The Aussie batter has been in good form for quite a few months now. Yes, he might not have played a lot of T20I cricket recently but he is someone RCB could have used as an option in the middle-order. Being a left-hander, he would have added balance along with his ability to bowl a few overs of right-arm off-spin.

3) James Neesham

James Neesham is someone who has been regular in impact performances in recent months. He actually did well in SA20 2023. RCB does not have a medium-pace bowling all-rounder and this is a hole that Neesham could have filled. He would also bring a lot of IPL experience with him. Therefore, the player features on this list.
