Delhi Capitals' owner Parth Jindal has reportedly bought the Pretoria based franchise for the upcoming South African T20 league that is to be played next year in 20223.

With a huge growth of T20 cricket since its inception and rise in popularity, especially the success of the Indian Premier League (IPL), there are number of cricket boards who are now a T20 cricket league of their own. 

And Cricket South Africa (CSA) is one of the latest to have joined the competition. CSA is set to conduct a 6 teams T20 league next year in 2023 and if reports are to be believed, then IPL franchise Delhi Capitals' owner Parth Jindal and his group has reportedly bought the Pretoria based franchise.

Quinton de Kock

South African star opening batsman Quinton de Kock may be the first name in their list to sign for the Pretoria Capitals. De Kock played for the erstwhile Delhi Daredevil (now known as Delhi Capitals) during 2014 to 2017. De Kock is South Africa's one of the most successful player and does Delhi may want their former player to represent them, however, may face competition from Lucknow and Mumbai owned franchises, his current and previous IPL team.

Kagiso Rabada

Kagiso Rabada was a star pace bowler that Delhi Capitals had under their disposal. He played for the Delhi Capitals from 2017 till 2021 before was picked-up by the Punjab Kings in the IPL Auction. He could be very much under the radar of the Pretoria based team. He has played 63 IPL matches and has taken 99 wickets.

Anrich Nortje

Anrich Nortje is Delhi Capitals' current star pace bowler and the franchise owners would want to him to stay with the fold in South African league too. Delhi Capitals is the franchise that gave him his IPL debut and the player must be thankful to them and would to stay with same fold.

David Warner

While the South African league is set to clash a little bit with the Big Bash League (BBL), but the Pretoria based franchise can still expect Delhi Capitals' star opening batsman David Warner playing for the team. Reportedly, Warner has told Cricket Australia he won't play in the BBL if the leadership ban is not lifted. Thus, he could be very much available for the league, however, there is UAE League that is set to take place at the same.

Tim Seifert

New Zealand's hard-hitting wicketkeeper batsman Tim Seifert maybe another player from the Delhi Capitals setup whom the Parth Jindal owned Pretoria franchise maybe interested at. Seifert didn't not play a whole lot of matches due to the presence of Rishabh Pant in the team as the wicketkeeper batsman. He still got 2 matches and scored 24 runs in them.
