CSK Reacts Emotionally After Faf du Plessis Gets Sold To RCB In IPL 2022 Auctions

The IPL 2022 Mega-Auctions are currently underway in Bengaluru. One of the first signings made in the auction today was Faf du Plessis going to RCB. RCB paid INR 7 crores for the former Chennai Super Kings player. CSK was also interested but could not match the bid. Hence, after they lost the player, they reacted emotionally on the internet. RCB buys Faf for INR 7 Cr

Royal Challengers Bangalore required an opener to partner with Virat Kohli. They were plenty of options in the market and RCB decided to go after Faf du Plessis. The likes of CSK were interested in the player and hence, the bid went high in a short time. Eventually, RCB won the player at INR 7 Cr. With this, RCB will possess a strong batting order comprising Faf, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell.

CSK reacts emotionally after losing Faf

Faf du Plessis has been the best batter for CSK in recent years. While he was their highest run-getter in IPL 2020, Faf ended up at No.2 in the list of highest run-scorers for CSK in IPL 2021. He was one of the reasons why CSK won the title in 2021.
