David Warner likely to ditch Big Bash League to play IPL franchise backed UAE T20 League: Report

 

It comes as a shocking news for all the die hard Australian cricket fans and cricket fans in general that Australia's one of the best batsman of the current generation is likely to ditch the Australian T20 League Big bAsh League over the IPL franchise backed UAE league.

There has been a major conundrum going on between the Cricket Australia (CA) and Australia's star batsman David Warner for quite some time and as a result, the Aussie is reportedly set to ditch the Big Bash League and play in the upcoming UAE T20 League to be played next year.

According to a latest report on News Corp, the Aussie superstar opening batsman is currently negotiating with the UAE T20 League organizers to be a part of the tournament which has a several of the IPL franchise owners owned teams as well.

As per earlier report, the International League T20 (ILT20), the official name of the UAE T20 League, will allow all the IPL franchise's to sign a total of 4 players from their existing franchise. It is also said that the salary cap has been decided at $2 Million.

Warner is said to be veryuch eager to play in the International League T20 over the Big Bash League (BBL), however, he may find it hard to acquire the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Cricket Australia as they would like him to play in the BBL. 

In the wake of this controversy of number of league being played around the same window, it is being said tha Cricket Australia will make it mandatory for contracted players to play in the BBL than any other league.

There could be a major controversy regarding a window for all these league with atleast 3 leagues are likely to face clash of schedule. While the Big Bash League starts in December and runs till February, the International League T20 and the new South Africa will start from January.
