"He can play all formats for India" - Jos Buttler backs young India pacer to play all three formats

 

Indian Premier League (IPL)'s superstar batsman from Rajasthan Royals Jos Buttler was full of praise for Indian pace bowler Prasidh Krishna and believes that he is a very big asset for Team India.

In the last couple of years, Prasidh Krishna has come out as one of the many top pace bowlers in the country, starting off as just a net bowler for the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise, who picked him up after impressing in the nets.

And ever since he joined the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Prasidh made a name for himself, coming out as one of KKR's top pace bowler. He earned lots of praise from the Indian cricket fraternity, and was eventually called up to the Indian squad for the England series in 2021.

He has so far played 7 One Day International matches and has taken 18 wickets. While in the IPL, he has played 36 matches as of writing this and has taken 33 wickets. He was picked up by the Rajasthan Royals for a massive sum in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction.

He has played 2 matches this season and has taken 3 wickets. Jos Buttler, his Rajasthan teammate was full of praise for Prasidh during the pre-match press conference, calling him to be very successful bowler for India in all formats of the game, including the Test cricket, which he is yet to play.

He said that Prasidh has shown some great pace and skills in the nets and has got all the attributes to be successful.

Rajasthan Royals has won both their opening 2 matches of the season, and currently sits at the very top of the points table. They next take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their 3rd match of the campaign tomorrow on the 5th of April.
