India International Jayant Yadav signs for Warwickshire for the remainder of the English County Championship

Indian bowling all-rounder Jayant Yadav has been signed by Warwickshire County Cricket Club for the last three matches of the ongoing County Championship 2022 season. Jayant Yadav has joined Warwickshire County Cricket Club along with his Indian cricket teammate Mohammad Siraj. 

With this, Jayant joins the number of Indian players who are playing in the English County Championship this season along with the likes of Cheteshwar Pujara, Shubman Gill, Mohammed Siraj. Fans are excitedly following Cricket Live Score of the English County Championship.

Jayant will be available for selection for Warwickshire from the 12th of September in the County Championship match against Somerset at Edgbaston. He said it was impossible to turn down an offer from Warwickshire, and he is fortunate to have Edgbaston as his home. He also believes that participating in the English County Championship will improve his game and give him more opportunities in the future.

Warwickshire County Cricket Club said in an official statement: "The 32-year-old will join teammate Mohammed Siraj at Edgbaston next week ahead of the home match against Somerset starting 12th September."

Jayant Yadav has mainly been a part of the Indian team in Test series only as a backup option in several times. However, the Delhi born cricketer has a great domestic by his side.

Jayant has played a total of 6 Test matches for the Indian team and has taken 16 wickets. As for his numbers in domestic cricket, he has played 64 first-class matches since the year 2011 after making his debut and has taken 173 wickets with a great economy rate of 3.22.

He has featured for the Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) and Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He was a member of the champions Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022. In total of 19 IPL matches, Jayant has 8 wickets to his name.
