"I'm pretty sure we'll be able to have dinner"- Jonny Bairstow opens up on what's next betweet Virat Kohli and him after heated altercation

In the 32nd over of England's innings in the fifth Test at the Edgbaston in Birmingham on Sunday, former India captain Virat Kohli got into a furious argument with wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow. Before umpires Aleem Dar and Richard Kettleborough intervened to separate the players and instruct them to concentrate on the cricket, Virat and Bairstow exchanged words.

Talking about that incident Bairstow said that there is literally nothing between him and Kohli. Jonny Bairstow jokingly said, “Refused to invite him for dinner”. He also said it was fortunate to play against each other for almost 10 years. He further added that playing against a fantastic team like India is always tough and there will be moments where we will be put under a lot of pressure and have to absorb the pressure and try to stay calm. He concluded by saying “I'm pretty sure we'll be able to have dinner. Don't worry about it”.

Indian pacers dominated England's batting line, with Jasprit Bumrah getting three wickets, M Shami taking two, M Siraj taking 4, and Shardul Thakur taking one. With a counter attacking  106 runs to help England post a score of 200-6 in response to India's 416. The England captain Ben Stokes was given two reprieves during the morning session, but he was unable to take advantage of them and left for 25. A disagreement with Virat Kohli of India on the pitch seemed to energize Bairstow, who scored his fourth successive test fifty and was still on track for his third century in four innings.

England bundled out on 284 in their first innings, now India are in commanding position in this match leading by 257 runs and with 7 wickets in hand. It was not to be Virat Kohli’s day with the bat as he was dismissed by a miraculous catch by Joe Root. Cheteshwar Pujara was joined by Rishabh Pant at the crease and Pant started from where left off in the first innings. India are in the driving position in this match and look to score some quick runs at the start of the Day 4 and put more pressure on England.
