To keep the identity of the brand, there are a few players who operate for both teams. There are also some former CSK cricketers who are currently part of JSK. Hence, it would be interesting to find out what the combined XI of both sides will look like.
Openers: Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis

Middle-Order: Donavon Ferreira and MS Dhoni (C&WK)
Donavon Ferreira had a splendid start to SA20 but could not kick on further. Nevertheless, he is a fine talent and would add tremendous balance to the setup. Even CSK could try to get him from Rajasthan Royals in the future. MS Dhoni, of course, will captain and keep wickets for this squad.
All-Rounders: Ben Stokes, Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali and Dwaine Pretorius

This gives them tremendous depth across conditions. For IPL 2023, CSK has some solid all-rounders such as Ben Stokes, Jaddu, Moeen and Pretorius. Bowlers: Deepak Chahar, Alzarri Joseph and Maheesh Theekshana
Deepak Chahar will be the main bowler for CSK in IPL. He will have to pick a lot of wickets in the powerplay and might also have to do some bowling in the death overs. Maheesh Theekshana plays for both the franchises and will lead the spin attack. Alzarri Joseph has been in fine form for JSK. In the IPL, he currently plays for Gujarat Titans. CSK might look to have him in the next seasons if possible.
