3 leg-spinners available in India who can also bat well

India needs to have multi-versatile players if they have to find success in the T20 format. The likes of Shadab Khan, Rashid Khan and Wanindu Hasaranga also offer their services with the bat along with excellent leg spin. However, India does not have this luxury. A T20 squad needs a leg-spinner and India's contenders - Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravi Bishnoi and Kuldeep Yadav, all are not great with the bat. If they had been decent with the bat, India might not have to compulsorily include an off-spinning all-rounder in the playing XI. On that note, in this article, we take a look at three leg-spinners available in India who can also bat well.

1) Rahul Tewatia

Rahul Tewatia did well with the ball in the recent Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In IPL 2022, he was terrific with the bat. Yes, Tewatia needs to improve both aspects but there is potential to use him as an all-rounder. He was supposed to make his India debut in 2021 but that did not happen.

2) Shreyas Gopal

Shreyas Gopal is one of the leg-spinners available in India who can also bat well. The Karnataka all-rounder started out as a promising batter but later worked and became good with his leg spin, too. At the moment, his form may not be great but he can surely be considered for the longer format. He also has the age on his side in his favour. Hence, he is a part of the list.

3) Pravin Dubey

Representing Karnataka, Pravin Dubey has also shown glimpses of becoming a good bowling all-rounder. In the finals of SMAT 2021, he did well with the bat. If he plays in the IPL, he can finetune his skills further. He did not play in the 2022 SMAT, though. There is no news if he was suffering from an injury or if it was due to form.
