"Won't be easy" - Shoaib Akhtar predicts India vs Pakistan result in T20WC 2022

Two arch-rivals will start their campaign in the upcoming T20I World Cup facing each other. India will take on Pakistan on October 23 in Melbourne in the 16th fixture of the T20I World Cup in Australia. This will be the rematch of last year's clash between the two teams.

Notably, the Men in Green thrashed India in that match by 10 wickets and registered their first ever win over their arch rival in the 13th attempt in World Cup history. But now once again, both teams are against each other and the stakes of this match are really high.

As a result, the last match between these two teams brought everyone in front of the TV and it registered the highest ever TV ratings in the history of cricket. Speaking of the match, there is always pressure when these two teams face each other. Former cricketers and cricket pundits have already started to predict the winner between the two.

Former Pakistani speedster Shoaib Akhtar has also come up with his view on this mega clash. In the latest media interaction, Akhtar said that this time Pakistan would find it difficult to beat India in the upcoming T20I game.

He said that after facing a horrible 10-wicket defeat, the Indian team will come up with a better plan and it will be difficult for Pakistan to repeat that win. However, he also stated that pitch conditions will play a significant role in this.

He said, "Predicting match results now is quite difficult, but Pakistan should bowl second as the pitch in Melbourne offers bounce to fast bowlers."

Akhtar added that there will be more than 1,50,000 fans watching the match live at the stadium and half of them will be Indians. The tickets for that mega-clash have already been sold out, and it will be a packed house at the stadium.
