"CSK vs MI is as big as Manchester United Playing Liverpool"- Moeen Ali ahead of CSK vs MI clash on Sunday

It's Saturday, and it is time for a double header. Two games will be played on Saturday. The afternoon match will see the Rajasthan Royals take on the Delhi Capitals at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati. But the second game can be huge.

Because it is between two of the most successful IPL franchises, which is always the most anticipated contest of the season. Mumbai Indians will lock horns with Chennai Super Kings in the evening game at the iconic Wankhede Stadium at 7:30 p.m. The hype of this match is just unmatchable, and fans can't wait to see these two teams face each other.

Rohit Sharma and his men will square off against MS Dhoni and Co. Adding to that, it will also be the 1000th IPL game in history, which will be an epic contest. MI has won the IPL five times, while CSK is next with four titles.

MI lost their first game to RCB by 8 wickets. On the other hand, CSK lost their opening encounter against GT but bounced back brilliantly with a 12-run win over LSG at home. With a game at Wankhede, MI fans will hope to see their team win the first game of the season.

Ahead of the game, CSK all-rounder Moeen Ali addressed the media and said that the clash between MI and CSK was as big as a football match between Manchester United and Liverpool.

Moeen said, "This is a game I really look forward to. These are the two most successful franchises and the fan-following is huge and this is one of the biggest games you can play as a cricketer outside of international cricket. From football’s point of view, it is like Manchester United playing Liverpool. These are huge games."

Moeen was the "Man of the Match" in the last game for CSK against LSG. He scored a 13-ball 19 with the bat and followed it with a 4/26 with the ball. Meanwhile, Deepak Chahar, who is making his comeback after an injury, has suffered in both games. Moeen has backed him and said that he was lacking game time and will improve as the tournament progresses.
