Watch: Animated Gautam Gambhir makes "Fingers on Lips" gesture to RCB fans after LSG's 1-wicket win

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants produced a thrilling game of cricket on Monday at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, which ended with a nail-biting finish. This game had everything. The second-fastest IPL fifty, an almost mankad runout, both teams scoring over 200, and the fourth-highest IPL chase—it had everything.

Certainly, everyone got full value for their money yesterday. But apart from all the cricketing action, LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir also captured the attention of many. Gambhir is not known for his reactions, but Monday night, after LSG's thrilling victory, his gesture towards the crowd created chaos.

Lucknow needed five runs in the last over with three wickets in hand. It was Mark Wood and Jaydev Unadkat who were there at the crease. But the RCB dismissed both batters, and it came down to the last wicket. LSG needed one to win off the last ball,

Dinesh Karthik missed to collect the ball behind the stumps, and LSG tailenders completed that winning run to seal a 1-run victory. Everyone was pumped up in the LSG dugout, including Gambhir as well. After the handshake with the RCB players, he gestures "fingers on lips" towards the RCB fans in the crowd.

In reply, LSG lost their three wickets for just 23 runs in 4 overs. But then, Marcus Stoinis played a blinder of 65 off 30, including six fours and five sixes. But in the end, it was Nicholas Pooran who smashed the second-fastest IPL fifty off 15 balls and made 62 off just 19, with seven sixes and four boundaries. LSG won with one wicket on the last ball of the over.
