3 Amazing record of India vs Australia rivalryin Border-Gavaskar Trophy

After some consecutive weeks of white-ball cricket, Team India will square off against Australia in the four-match test formerly known as the "Border-Gavaskar Trophy," starting on February 9 in Nagpur. The game will take place at the Vidarbha Cricket Stadium.

The BGT series between two of the best red-ball teams first took place in 1996/97 in India. And it was India that won that series. So far, both teams have played the 15th series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which is played every two years. India has a clear upper hand with nine series wins against Australia's five.

The former Indian captain has played 20 games and scored 1682 runs at 48.05 with seven centuries and five half-centuries. Meanwhile, Pujara has scored 1893 runs in the same number of games at a better average of 54.08 with five centuries and 10 half-centuries.

2. Micheal Clarke has better bowling figure than Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah had a brilliant 2018 BGT series and also played a few games in the 2020–21 edition. Overall, he has played seven games in the BGT series against Australia and has taken 32 wickets at an average of 21.25 and a best figure of 6/33. These numbers look incredible. Former Australian captain Michael Clarke, on the other hand, has a better bowling figure than Bumrah. Clarke picked up a brilliant bowling figure of 6/9 in 2004 against India.

3. Shane Warne has same number of sixes in an inning as Rohit Sharma

Legenday Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne had an illustrative test career, and he was the first player on the planet to take 700 test wickets. But he was a useful tailender as well, with a best test score of 99. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma is India's main batter at the top. But these two have hit the exact number of sixes in an inning in the BGT series. In 2001, Warne hit three sixes in an inning against India, and Rohit also hit three sixes in an inning, his most in one inning against the Aussies.
