Jason Holder picks Virat and two other Indians in his dream hat-trick: leaves out Babar, Root or Smith

The last one and a half years haven't been great for India, and the reason for this is the form of India's top three across formats. India has always had a strong top-order side, with the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul performing well over the years.

But over the last 16–18 months, these players have looked a bit rusty, which has also led India to defeat on a few occasions. Despite the fact that these players haven't been in the best of form, the world knows how much better any of them can be and how many games they have won on their own.

That is why India's top three are the backbone of the Indian batting line-up. Despite the inconsistency, it is not easy to get them out in any format of the game.

That is why dismissing India's top three is always a challenge for any opposition. Former West Indian skipper and all-rounder Jason Holder has revealed his dream hat-trick in cricket. He has picked India's top three in his dream hat-trick.

In a discussion on ESPN Cricinfo, Holder revealed his dream hat-trick and said, "I'll go Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul." However, he was also asked who was the most difficult batter to bowl, and surprising enough, he didn't take the game from these three.

Holder said that former South Africa superstar AB de Villiers was the most difficult batter to bowl to. He said, "The most difficult batter I have ever bowled to, full stop, is AB de Villiers. Whether that be in a Test match, One Day game or T20."

India is currently on the Bangladesh tour, where they lost the three-match ODI series 2-1. The first test is underway between these two teams at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. India needs to win these two games to stay alive in the race for the WTC final.

A lot will depend on Rahul, Rohit, and Virat. Although Rohit is injured and has been ruled out of the first test. But there are chances that he might make it to the squad before the second test starts.
