Watch - Virat Kohli tried to make his bat stand straight like Joe Root
A few days ago, in the first match between England and New Zealand, we saw Joe Root play a heroic innings to win the match for the home side. Chasing that target of 279, Rooti remained not out and scored a brilliant century of 115* runs to help his side start the summer with a good win.
However, apart from his innings, one other thing caught the eyes of everyone. The former England skipper was seen making his willow stand still without any support for a good 3-4 seconds. His bat was seen standing completely still, and Root was seen on the non-striker's end.
The video of Virat trying to do Joe Root has gone viral. However, he was not successful in doing so, but he tried to imitate Root. Speaking of India's tour, the fifth and final test will start on June 1 Edgbaston, Birmingham. India are leading the five match series 2-1 already.
But they will be looking to win this match for the series as well as to move forward in the current World Test Championship cycle. However, if they lose this match, it will be difficult for India to comeback from that situation for a place in the WTC final.
After the test match, both teams will play three T20Is starting on July 7. The tour will conclude with three ODIs. The first ODI will be played on July 12 at Kennington Oval, London, while the third and final ODI will be played on July 17 at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester.
