"Mental issue behind his failure" -Former Pakistan skipper makes a big claim on Virat Kohli's batting struggles

India will lock horns with England in the fifth and final Test match at Edgbaston, Birmingham. And with India's top two run-getters, Rohit Sharam and KL Rahul, not available in the team, all the responsibility will depend mainly on the former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, who is himself struggling with his batting form.

He also added that it even affects the mindset of great players like Virat Kohli. He also pointed out that that is the reason we see the former Indian skipper chasing the wide ball outside off stump and getting out. Misbah added, "We see the technical fault, but why is he doing that? There's mental issue behind it."

The former Pakistani skipper also said that Virat has the ego and pride to dominate the game. But he is trying too hard and that is the reason the pressure is increasing on him. Furthermore, Misbah said that the former Indian skipper can only get out of this situation if he moves away from the pressure.

He also pointed out that the same situation happened to him as well in his career, so he went back to playing club cricket. Concluding the discussion, Misbah said, " It doesn't matter what quality of bowlers you are facing, at the back of mind that automation comes back once you score runs."

The Indian test team is leading the series 2-1 with the final match to be played on Friday. Virat scored a 50+ score in the warm-up match against Leicestershire. So it will be interesting to see how he goes with the business and performs against England.
