"Atharva The Origin"- Check out the Super-Hero "Avatar" of MS Dhoni in 1st look of his epic novel

But now for his fans, he will be seen in a totally new avatar. MS Dhoni as Super-Hero - MS Dhoni Graphic Novel is now available, and MSD looks completely different in the novel. Pratilipi Comics, a prominent digital comic storytelling platform, has purchased the rights to the critically acclaimed graphic novel "Atharva: The Origin," in which the legendary cricketer MS Dhoni plays the title role.

Pratilipi Comics has updated the book series by Ramesh Thamilmani with "new character designs, artwork, and creative elements, revolutionising the Indian online comic space."

The former Indian skipper also looked excited about the novel. In a statement released, MSD said, "It is great to see all the hard work come to life in ‘Atharva: The Origin’. Pratilipi Comics has captured the essence of our story well in its comic adaptation. The readers are in for an amazing adventure."

The book follows the exploits of the title character, a skilled warrior who sets out on a difficult journey where he meets mythical objects and explores majestic areas of land - a true treat for the soul and the senses. It is set in a "very young Earth" and in a long-forgotten era.

Head of Product and Business at Pratilipi Comics, Sachin Patil highlighted that the high fantasy genre is still in a nascent stage in India but there is still a demand for it. However, he also said that with a star like MS Dhoni as the protagonist and a stellar storyline, "Atharva: The Origin" can redefine the fantasy genre in India. He further added that this novel is aligned with Pratilipi Comics’s goal of bringing a new age of digital comics to India.
