"Out of Form XI" of the T20 World Cup 2022

The T20 World Cup will kick off next week in Australia with almost all the teams having reached the country. First round will have eight teams competing for four open spots in the "Super 12" stage of the tournament. While the top 8 teams have directly qualified for the "Super 12".

Well, with all the squads having been announced, every team is on their final assignment ahead of the T20 World Cup. All the teams have picked the best players from the country to represent them at the highest level. But still, there are a few players who look

a bit rusty. Hence, we have made a playing XI for the players who are looking a bit out of form. Notably, this list includes those players who haven't performed well in recent matches.

1. Openers of the team

For the openers, we have picked two veteran openers who will enter the tournament. It includes New Zealand's veteran opener Martin Guptill, who is currently looking a bit out of touch. On the other hand, South Africa's skipper, Temba Bavuma, who is currently in India, has failed miserably in four white-ball innings. He has just made 8 runs in three T20Is and one ODI.

2. Batsmen in the team

Well, the middle-order of "Out of Form XI" will have some world-renowned names, but they are currently looking a bit rusty at the moment. This middle-order will include West Indies' skipper Nicholas Pooran, Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, and English all-rounder Liam Livingstone for Nos. 3, 4 and 5. However, for the Nos. 6 and 7, two Pakistani batters will make it. Those are Khushdil Shah and Asif Ali, who have failed a bit in recent matches.

3. Bowlers for the team

Well, the bowling line-up for this team should be of those bowlers who are not all bowling well at the moment. For that, we have picked India's Harshal Patel, who has been leaking over 10 runs per over since his return from injury. Apart from him, South African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi has also looked below average, so he will be the spinner in the team. Two other pacers are English pacer Chris Jordan and South African pacer Anrich Nortje (Nortje has performed well in tests but his white-ball numbers are below his standards).
