The Syed Mushtaq Ali 2022 is underway and it is giving the fans some high-voltage clashes on a daily basis. However, one heated incident took place on Wednesday when Baroda took on Saurashtra in a Group D match at the Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore.

Saurashtra wicket-keeper batsman Sheldon Jackson and Baroda skipper Ambati Rayudu were involved in a heated exchange during the match. Baroda players had to come in between to intervene to make both players clam down.

On-field umpires also had a few words with both the players after that. This video of the incident has taken the internet by storm. However, in the end, Saurashtra won the match by 4 wickets.

It happened in the ninth over of the chase, when Jackson was batting and fielding captain Rayudu made some comment on the batter. As per the commentators, it was learnt that Jackson was taking too much time to get ready for the strike, which didn't go well with Rayudu.

In the chase, Saurastra lost two early wickets, but Samarth Vyas kept them in the chase. Vyas played a match-winning innings and was unlucky to miss a well-deserved century by just three runs. He made 97 off 52 balls with five fours and nine sixes.

Jackson scored 17 runs and got out. In the end, Saurashtra made 178/6 in 19.4 overs. This was also the highest successful run chase for Saurashtra in the history of T20s.
