"Wish to play for RCB alongside Kohli..."- Babar Azam's PSL opening partner reveals his desire to play with Virat in RCB

Royal Challengers Bangalore is among the most followed T20 franchises in the world of cricket. Although they are yet to win a championship in the Indian Premier League, they have a huge fan base that has always supported the team irrespective of its performance.

Adding to that, RCB has always had some of the biggest names in the game playing for them. The likes of AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, Kevin Pietersen, Shane Watson, Mitchell Starc, Dale Steyn, Yuvraj Singh, and many more stars have represented this team. Even the current squad has some big players like Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell, Josh Hazlewood, and Wanindu Hasaranga.

But the one name that is one of the prime reasons for the huge fan base of the RCB is Virat Kohli. Not just for RCB, Virat is the most followed cricketer in the world, and many former and current cricketers admire him for whatever he has achieved in his career.

In fact, not just from India, but cricketers from across the border also want to play with him in a team. That's what young Pakistani opener Saim Ayub wants in his cricket career. The 20-year-old reveals his desire to play for RCB in the IPL alongside Virat Kohli.

Ayub was part of Babar Azam's Peshawar Zalmi in the recently concluded Pakistan Super League 2023 and opened batting with the Pakistani skipper. He said that Kohli is a legend and one of the best in the world.

In an interaction on the Nadir Ali podcast, Ayub said, "I wish to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore, I follow the IPL too. I love their kit and Virat Kohli plays for them too. I admire Virat bhai's journey from a youngster to a legend and he's one of the best athletes in the world."
