South African spin bowling sensation and legend, the leg-spin bowler Imran Tahir has spoken out on the topic of Indian cricket team not picking Yuzvendra Chahal for the T20 World Cup 2021.

The Indian cricket team has got off to probably the worst possible way in the T20 World Cup 2021, which is being held in the United Arab Emirates and Oman. India has lost both of their opening 2 matches of the T20 spectacle.

And the Indian team is for sure missing the presence of a good quality spinner in the team. Former South Africa cricket team leg-spin bowler Imran Tahir has spoken out on India excluding Yuzvendra Chahal.

Imran Tahir stated he personally wanted to see a wonderful bowler like Yuzvendra Chahal play for in the T20 World Cup 2021. He added that nowadays leg-spin bowlers are not all about Googly or Leg-Break bowling, leg-spinners now bowl flippers, top-spin and slider as well.

The Indian cricket team is really feeling the lack of presence of a good quality spin bowler in the squad, even in the presence of Indian Premier League star Varun Chakravarthy, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, as the men in blue has managed to pick up only 2 wickets in the opening 2 matches of the T20 World Cup 2021, and all of them came against New Zealand.

India had suffered a defeat by 10 wickets to the Pakistan cricket team in their first match of the T20 World Cup 2021, followed by a 8 wickets defeat against New Zealand on the 24th and 31st October respectively.

India now next plays the Afganistan cricket team on the 3rd of November. That followed by are Scotland and Namibia on the 5th and 8th November.
