Pro Kabaddi League 2022 Best Raider, Best Defender: Most Raid Points, Most Tackle Points (Updated) as on Jan 18

Two matches happened in the Pro Kabaddi League 2022 yesterday night with the Patna Pirates battling Dabang Delhi KC in the first match and then the Gujarat Giants taking on the former champions U Mumba.

Patna Pirates suffered a shocking defeat at the hands of Dabang Delhi KC. Fans expected them to win the match because the opposition team did not have Naveen Kumar in the playing 7. Still, the Dabangs emerged victorious by three points.

The second match of the night ended in a draw as both Gujarat Giants and U Mumba scored 24 points each in the 40 minutes time period. None of the teams showed much aggression in the match, which resulted in a low-scoring match.

Now that the two matches scheduled to happen yesterday have ended, here’s a look at the updated PKL leaderboards.

Most Tackle Points in Pro Kabaddi League 2022

Surjeet Singh and Sagar continue to hold the top two spots, and they have been joined by Patna Pirates all-rounder Mohammadreza Chiyaneh in the Top 3. Chiyaneh scored three tackle points last night against the Dabangs and took his overall tally to 33 points.

Meanwhile, U Mumba’s defender Rinku HC and Patna Pirates’ vice-captain Neeraj Kumar have entered the Top 7 after touching the 30 tackle points mark last night in the eighth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.

The Top 7 of the raiders’ leaderboard continue to remain the same after yesterday’s two matches. Abhishek Singh scored only four raid points against Gujarat Giants and retained his sixth position.

Naveen Kumar continues to be in the Top 3 although he has not played much in the last few days. It will be interesting to see when the Dabang Delhi KC star returns to the mat.
