Watch: Virat Kohli surprises fans by mimicking Dhawan like a carbon copy

 

The Indian cricket team is scheduled to start their T20 World Cup 2021 campaign from the 24th of October with a big encounter against Pakistan, but before that, the players are taking full advantage of the rest after a long IPL season and passing their time doing funny things.

Indian cricket team's star batsman and captain Virat Kohli, posted a funny video on his official social media handle. On the 18th of October, the day when India is scheduled to play a warm-up match against England, captain Virat Kohli posted a video in which he was seen imitating former Indian batsman Shikhar Dhawan.

Virat Kohli was seen perfectly mimicking the Delhi born left-hand batsman's batting quirks and batting stance. Along with that he, he stated that he is doing this because Dhawan is so much lost in his space and it's very funny and he has seen him do this many times being on the other end of the pitch.

Virat Kohli is set to lead the Indian cricket team in the T20 World Cup 2021, while Shikhar Dhawan enjoyed a fruitful season in the Indian Premier League 2021 edition playing for Delhi Capitals, scoring 587 runs. However, he has not been included into the Indian team for the World Cup.

India begins it's T20 World Cup 2021 with 2 warm-up matches against England and Australia before their opening clash against arch-rival Pakistan on the 24th of October. India is placed in Group 2 in the Super 12 round with New Zealand and Afganistan being the other teams. 2 other teams will join them after the end of round 1.
