Goldberg reveals Vince McMahon hated and ‘wanted to kill’ former WWE Universal Champion

Vince McMahon had planned a championship match between Goldberg and Roman Reigns for WrestleMania 36. However, The Big Dog pulled out of the event at the last moment. The Roman Empire decided to stay out because his wife was pregnant and his kids needed him at home.

However, the show still went on and Strowman won the Universal Championship in Roman’s absence. Nevertheless, Goldberg took part in a chat with Inside The Ropes where he discussed how Vince treated him. He made a shocking revelation by stating that Vince supposedly wanted to kill himself and a former Universal Champion when he decided to book a random match featuring Goldberg at WrestleMania.

Talking about his WrestleMania main event match, Goldberg said that Vince perhaps wished to kill himself and Brock Lesnar by booking that encounter. The reason behind it was that the fans knew both Superstars were leaving. Hence, they showered booes on both the wrestlers.

Here’s what Goldberg told to Inside The Ropes:
"Here's the thing though. If you are presented with that scenario and you are Vince McMahon, what the hell do you do? Who do you let win, who do you hate less?"

"I just wonder how he came to that decision. I really do because he wanted to kill me. I know he wanted to kill Brock. So, I guess he wanted to kill Brock more and that is why I won."

However, as everyone knows, now the relation between Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon has improved a lot as the Chairman recently gave him a lengthy reign with the Universal Championship.
