1) Mark Boucher - South Africa
Mark Boucher is the most recent example of this list. He will step down as the coach of South Africa after the 2022 T20 World Cup. It needs to be noted that under him, South Africa enjoyed good success. They now have a team that can target to win many trophies in the future. However, Boucher resigned from the role and instead decided to become the Head Coach of Mumbai Indians from IPL 2023. It is a prestigious position and Boucher's credentials will increase if he does well with MI.
2) Lance Klusener - Afghanistan
The former South African all-rounder had a good stint with the Afghanistan Cricket Team. He had to leave the role soon after the 2021 T20 World Cup. A few weeks later, he became the Head Coach of Khulna Tigers in the Bangladesh Premier League. Later, he also applied for the role of the Head Coach of Sri Lanka. But, he pulled out of the race. He now has a coaching position in SA20 League, as well.
