The Legends League Cricket season one happened recently. It was a success and the second edition will happen in September and October this year. Usually, only retired cricketers are picked for the tournament. However, there are some players who have retired and are all set to be a part of the second season of the competition. On that note, in this article, we take a look at two players who are yet to retire but will play in Legends League Cricket Season 2.

1) Ravi Bopara

Ravi Bopara was once an important part of the English setup. However, after he lost form and was dropped, he found it hard to come back to the squad. That said, Bopara is quite popular in many overseas leagues and he consistently features in them. He has plenty of experience and adds value in both departments of the game. He has not retired from international cricket yet, although a comeback is out of the question for the moment. Yet, he will play in LLC season 2.

2) Kevin O'Brien

Irish all-rounder Kevin O'Brien is one of the players who are yet to retire but will play in Legends League Cricket Season 2. The player from Ireland is popular for his display in the 2011 World Cup. For Ireland, he has done well for a long time but is currently not in the scheme of things. Yes, he has announced retirement from ODIs but he still has a chance in the T20I format. In fact, he played in the 2021 T20 World Cup. There are some top youngsters coming through in Ireland and a comeback will be hard for him.
