2 players who could make their debut in IPL 2023 and can make their India debut soon after
In recent years, we have seen the BCCI selectors give India debut to players soon after their first year in the IPL. Some of the examples include the likes of Venkatesh Iyer. It basically depends on the demand and supply of the attribute of that player. In line with this, we could also see some similar instances repeat after IPL 2023. On that note, in this article, we take a look at two players who could make their debut in IPL 2023 and can make their India debut soon after.
1) Mukesh Kumar
Interestingly, even before his IPL debut, Mukesh Kumar earned a place in the Indian T20I Team. He did not get to play a game but in this IPL era, getting a chance in the Indian Team without playing the IPL is a massive feat. Nevertheless, Mukesh is all set to make his debut for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2023. He will get a few chances and if he does well, he could return to the India setup and even get a chance to make his international debut.
2) Vidwath Kaverappa
Vidwath Kaverappa is one of the players who could make their debut in IPL 2023 and can make their India debut soon after. The Karnataka speedster was in superb form in the recent domestic season. He was especially brilliant in the powerplay. With Bhuvneshwar Kumar out of the scene and Deepak Chahar injury-prone, considering India's problem with injury issues to the pacers, there would be scope for a debut. Shivam Mavi got it in a similar way recently. Therefore, if Kaverappa does well in IPL 2023, he could get a chance to land a spot in Team India.
