Road Safety World Series has a very important message but for the fans, there is also great entertainment on offer. The likes of Sachin Tendulkar and other legends of the game take part in this tournament. It is known that BCCI will not allow the domestic cricketers and national cricketers of India to play in overseas T20 leagues. Therefore, players need to retire from IPL and domestic cricket in India to have an opportunity to play in foreign tournaments. Many players have often retired just a few days before such tournaments. With RSW 2022 happening soon, a few Indians have done that again. On that note, in this article, we take a look at 2 players who retired in the last 10 days to take part in the Road Safety World Series 2022.

1) Suresh Raina

Suresh Raina announced his retirement from all forms of the game recently. He has confirmed that he would take part in the upcoming RSW. Raina also indicated that he has offers from South Africa and UAE. Therefore, we can now expect the former India cricketer to feature across the globe. For his fans, it would be good news as the hopes of his participation in IPL were anyways becoming less.

2) Rahul Sharma

Rahul Sharma is one of the players who retired in the last 10 days to take part in the Road Safety World Series 2022. The leg-spinner enjoyed a few good seasons with IPL. He even got to make his India debut. However, he could not cement his spot. Even in domestic cricket, Rahul did not find much success. His IPL career, too, ended soon. He will now take part in RSW 2022 and a few days ago, at August end, he announced his retirement.
