3 players part of WTC 2021 Final but are nowhere near Team India right now

Indian cricket team today is one of the greatest cricket team, whether it is the shortest format of the game or the longest format of the game. Indian team have made a name for themselves playing and winning in various parts of the world.

The Indian team, formerly captained by Virat Kohli and currently led by Rohit Sharma, finds themselves at the top 4 in the ICC Ranking, whether it is the Test, ODI or T20I.

India is currently 2nd in the longest format of the game and is currently playing the England team in the 5th Test match from last year's series.

Talking about last, Team India had a good year, except for the T20 World Cup and the World Test Championship 2021 final loss against New Zealand. It's been not long, but there are atleast 3 Indian players from that World Test Championship (WTC) 2021 final who doesn't find a place in the Indian team anymore.

Ishant Sharma

Ishant Sharma is the first of the 3 names from the Indian squad from the World Test Championship 2021 final who now find it difficult to find a place in the Indian team. Ishant was last part of the Indian team that toured South Africa around December last year. However, in all the three matches, Ishant didn't find a place in the Playing XI.

Wriddhiman Saha

After MS Dhoni, Wriddhiman Saha was one of the best wicketkeeper in the world in terms of wicketkeeping abilities and was a solid option with the bat as well. However, the last 1 to 2 years have not been kind to him. He is out of form and as a result, has been dropped from the Indian team as well. Now it is unlikely for Saha to make a comeback as Srikar Bharat has taken his place in the team.

Ajinkya Rahane

Ajinkya Rahane was a very solid player in India's middle-order and was one of the hero of the team that dethroned Australia at their home. He was also serving as a India's vice-captain and captain in absence of Kohli. But, with Hanuma Vihari and Shreyas Iyer coming into the fold and Rahane out of form, he Mumbai batsman has lost his place in the team and now finds it very difficult to make a return.
