Being a Head Coach could be exciting as the individual can implement their strategies, which might not have been possible in their playing career. We have already seen the likes of Ashish Nehra and Mahela Jayawardene excel in this department. 1) Eoin Morgan

One of the best tacticians in the game, Morgan helped England become a strong force in limited-overs cricket with his abilities. Now, he is all set to become a coach. He recently retired from international cricket and as per reports, Morgan is likely to be considered for the Head Coach role in Punjab Kings, which has been left vacant by Anil Kumble.

2) Chris Morris

Chris Morris is also one of the cricketers who retired in 2022 and are set to become coaches. The South African all-rounder announced his retirement from all forms of the game at the beginning of 2022. Soon after retirement, he announced that he would be taking up a coaching role with the Titans in South Africa. It is clear that he now takes a bigger role in the future.

3) Kevin O'Brien

The Irish all-rounder has been with Italy in a coaching role for a while now. Despite having not retired, he had already shown that his next step will be to take up coaching. He recently retired and most probably, Kevin will take a permanent coaching role in the future.
