Australian all-rounder Cameron Green did a brilliant job against India in the recent three-match T20I series. While he showed brilliant intent in the powerplay, he also was impressive with the ball. With this performance, IPL franchises would surely line him up at the IPL 2023 Auctions. On that note, in this article, we take a look at three franchises Cameron Green could play for in IPL 2023.

1) Gujarat Titans

IPL 2022 Winners Gujarat Titans have a scope for improvement at the top of the order. Matthew Wade did not do well and hence, there can be a new partner for Shubman Gill if GT decide to move on from Wriddhiman Saha, who is inconsistent. In that scenario, Green would be a top addition and he would also solve the balance issues by giving a few overs with the ball. 

2) Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR is one of the franchises Cameron Green could play for in IPL 2023. There are not many options that can be better than Green at the moment for KKR. Barring Sunil Narine and Andre Russell, no other foreigner sealed his spot in the KKR XI last season. Especially the team failed to get right the opening combination. If they can hire Green, he would be an apt opening partner for Venkatesh Iyer and would also help in improving the depth of the squad.

3) Royal Challengers Bangalore

If RCB can part ways with Faf du Plessis, there would be plenty of ways for the squad to improve. Green's intent would complement Virat Kohli's approach at the top of the order. Apart from this, RCB can have a fourth seamer in Green, an aspect which they struggled with in IPL 2022. Hence, RCB can also target the all-rounder. Therefore, he is also one of the teams the player could represent in IPL 2023.
