1) Sunrisers Hyderabad

Shakib could actually return to play for SRH in IPL 2023. Barring Washington Sundar, SRH does not have a single genuine spinner in the squad. They would definitely need to build their spin attack and Shakib is a good option. The team can also afford the No.3 batting position now that both Kane Williamson and Nicholas Pooran have been released. With Shakib in the squad, the team would cover eight overs of spin in the Top 7, which would give great depth to the unit.

2) Punjab Kings
