The draft for Major League Cricket will happen on March 19th. Chennai Super Kings owners have purchased a stake in the Texas franchise. The owners would definitely target a few former Indian cricketers with IPL experience who have now migrated to the US. On that note, in this article, we take a look at three Indian-origin USA-based former IPL players whom CSK can sign for the new franchise in the USA.

1) Unmukt Chand

Unmukt Chand will be one of the stars of the draft that will happen on Sunday. CSK would need access to an existing fanbase and hence, they can target the former India U19 skipper. In Unmukt, CSK would get an experienced top-order batter, who can also captain the squad in the home-grown quota.

2) Bipul Sharma

Bipul Sharma is one of the Indian-origin USA-based former IPL players whom CSK can sign for the new franchise in the USA. If the Texas franchise follows CSK's ideology, they could target former IPL winner Bipul Sharma because of the all-around value he adds. While he is primarily a spinner, he can also launch a few big hits in the end overs. His age might be a concern but in a league based out of the USA, it should not be a major issue.

3) Sunny Sohal

Sunny Sohal has experience playing in IPL. He has also represented the USA Cricket Team. The cricketer would be the target of many teams because of his experience in leagues such as the IPL. Obviously, there would be other suitors for him, as well.
