3 players who could lose their spot in Indian T20I Team if their bad form in IPL continues

The selectors have become more ruthless in recent months. If a player is not doing well, there is a possibility that he might lose his spot. At the same time, the selectors are exploring fresh talents in line with the requirements of the modern approach in T20Is. On that note, in this article, we take a look at three players who could lose their spot in Indian Team if their bad form in IPL continues.

1) Ishan Kishan

Ishan Kishan has been extremely disappointing in the IPL for quite some time now. Even for Team India, barring his double century recently, he has been mediocre. There is no dearth of left-handed batters or wicket-keepers right now. Hence, Ishan can easily lose his spot if he does not do well.

2) KL Rahul

KL Rahul is one of the players who could lose their spot in the Indian Team if their bad form in the IPL continues. Rahul was dropped recently from the Test XI and even in T20Is, his career is on the line. In the first two games of IPL 2023, he struggled. If it continues in the next few games, with the likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad being in good form, KL Rahul might completely lose his spot in the squad.

3) Ravindra Jadeja

Axar Patel is in top form at the moment. There are some younger talents also available for this role in the country. With Jaddu having injury issues and him not playing to his potential in T20Is, he could as well lose his spot in the T20I setup. This might actually help him because he would be more useful for the Indian Team in the other two formats right now.
