Indian Test Team is one of the best squads going around. Hence, it is difficult to find a spot in this XI. On that note, in this article, we take a look at 4 bowlers who got selected for Indian Test Team but did not make their debut in recent years.

Players get selected for the Indian Team but a debut is not guaranteed. Before long, they could be sidelined without even getting a chance. This is how the selection of cricket teams works and it cannot be avoided. Therefore, it is important for all cricketers to grab their chances whenever they get them.

1) Arzan Nagwaswalla

Arzan had a great start to his FC career. He also left many impressed with his performance in the white-ball formats. Hence, he got selected for Team India because the squad was looking for a left-arm pacer. Arzan even travelled to England with the Indian Team. However, till now, he is yet to get his chance. His form has also dipped in domestic cricket. Now, it looks really hard for him to make a comeback because Jaydev Unadkat is back in the Indian Team and the experienced man is also in good form.

2) Saurabh Kumar

Saurabh Kumar is one of the bowlers who got selected to the Indian Test Team but did not make their debut in recent years. Whenever Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel have been injured in recent months, it is Saurabh Kumar who has got a chance. However, he is yet to play for India. This is even more difficult now with Kuldeep Yadav returning to form. A leg-spinner in the Test Team can be useful and with Jaddu and Axar anyways in the squad, Saurabh's next domestic campaign has to be a big one if he has to earn a comeback.

3) Rahul Chahar

Rahul Chahar is also one of the bowlers who got selected to the Indian Test Team but did not make their debut in recent years. A few months ago, India was on the lookout for a leg-spinner in the Test Team. This was when Kuldeep was low on confidence and also had injury issues. Rahul Chahar did get selected for the Indian Team but he did not get a chance. Since then, he has not been in the picture. For the Rajasthan leggie, it could be about returning to the white-ball setup, which is more open for a young leggie right now.

4) Prasidh Krishna

Along with Arzan, Prasidh was also a part of Team India when the men in blue toured England in 2021. However, since then, India has not played a lot of games in SENA Nations and Prasidh has anyways been injured. That said, once he is back, he would surely be backed to come good not only in the ODI squad but also with the red ball.
