This would keep them in the picture when freezing the captain for the senior squad of the country,
1) Sarfaraz Ahmed - 2006
Sarfaraz Ahmed is one of the players you might not know have won the U19 World Cup as a captain. The Pakistan wicket-keeper was the man at the helm of affairs before Babar Azam took over. Sarfaraz was a fine talent and his captaincy also was mostly on point. Apart from finding success at the junior level, Sarfaraz also led Pakistan to victory in the famous 2017 edition of the Champions Trophy.

However, in recent months, especially in the T20 format, Marsh has been in terrific form. He is the team's No.3 and has also helped Australia lift the 2021 T20 World Cup. If he continues the same form and maintains his fitness, in future, he could also be seen as captaincy material.
3) Aiden Markram - 2014
Aiden Markram was the captain of the South African squad that lifted the trophy in 2014. Since then, Markram has gone on to cement his place in all three formats of the game. Captaincy has not happened for him till now but post the ICC events next year, he could come into the picture if Temba Bavuma cannot adjust to the fast pace of the shorter format batting.
4) Shimron Hetmyer - 2016
Shimron Hetmyer is also one of the players you might not know who has won the U19 World Cup as a captain. One of the swashbuckling cricketers of this era, Hetmyer already has a laurel as a captain. While he has been doing well in T20 leagues, he is not playing for West Indies often. The management must resolve this and if Hetmyer can realize his potential, he will be a good cricketer for the country. If that happens, he can also get a chance to be Nicholas Pooran's deputy and step up in his absence in the future.
