Kartik Tyagi and Bharat

IPL 2022 Mega-Auctions was an interesting one as there were two more teams in the fray. The effects of the decisions of the franchise in that event have been felt only on the ground. Hence, a few teams are now aware of the mistakes they did on the auction table. Therefore, the trade window could be utilized by a few teams to make amends. In this article, we take a look at five players who might be involved in trade deals after IPL 2022.

Despite two new teams, a few players are not getting good opportunities in the tournament. While these players might push for a move, franchises will also focus on getting these cricketers on board for IPL 2023. We talk about five such players in this article.

1) Kartik Tyagi (Sunrisers Hyderabad)

Teams that might target: Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings

Kartik Tyagi is one of the players who might be involved in trade deals after IPL 2022. Despite being a promising pacer, he is not getting chances at SRH. This is understandable because the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan and Umran Malik are doing very well. This situation could continue for the next season, as well. Kartik will be aware of it and he might want to stay at a team where he shall get more chances. Many teams are in need of a good Indian pacer and hence, Kartik will be a good option for them.

2) Chetan Sakariya (Delhi Capitals)

Teams that might target: Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings

Like Kartik, Chetan is also not getting many chances in IPL 2022. Considering he played all 14 games last season, it will be disappointing for the player. With Khaleel doing well, Chetan might not get a lot of games. Hence, teams could try to hire him for their squads.

3) KS Bharat (Delhi Capitals)

Teams that might target: Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore

KS Bharat was one of the stars for RCB in the UAE phase of IPL 2021. However, at Delhi Capitals, he is yet to play a game. Bharat is close to making his international debut and he would surely want to play regularly in IPL. A domestic wicket-keeper will be useful for a few teams and hence, squads like KKR could go after him.

4) R Sai Kishore (Gujarat Titans)

Teams that might target: Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings

At Gujarat, too, Sai Kishore's position is still the same. He is yet to play a game so far in IPL 2022. Considering his talent, a few teams might be able to offer him a place in the playing XI. Sai is a talent worth investing in and therefore, a few teams might be interested in him.

5) Jayant Yadav (Gujarat Titans)

Teams that might target: Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings

Jayant is also warming the bench at GT. He is an experienced cricketer who offers value in both departments of the game. Hence, there could be a few interested franchises.
