"ABD and Gayle look pale infront of Surya"- Ex-PAK star's massive praise for Suryakumar Yadav, says he is "New Universe Boss"
The third and final Twenty20 international game between India and Sri Lanka saw complete carnage off the bat of Suryakumar Yadav. India thrashed the visitors by 91 runs and registered yet another bilateral series win at home, 2-1.

India compiled a massive score of 228/5 in their first inning and dismissed Sri Lanka for 137 runs in 16.4 overs to register a dominating win. The "Man of the Match" was Suryakumar Yadav, who scored his third T20I century of his career in just 43 innings.

He smashed the second fastest T20I century by an Indian off 45 balls and remained unbeaten on 112 off just 51 balls with seven fours and nine sixes. SKY showed why he is the top-ranked T20I batter in the world. Many former cricketers, experts, and analysts praised the Indian batter after his inning.

Former Pakistani spinner Danish Kaneria also lauded SKY and went on to say that he is the "new Universe Boss" and has already gone past the likes of Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers in the shorter format of the game. He also stated that he would call SKY the new Universe Boss from now on.

In a video uploaded on his YouTube channel, Kaneria said, "The new Universe Boss is Suryakumar Yadav-the beast. You can speak about ABD, Chris Gayle but even those two look pale infront of Surya. He has already eclipsed them and has taken T20 cricket to a whole new level."

After his blistering century, Suryakumar said that it was important to put pressure on yourself because only then can you perform better in the game. He added that there was a lot of hard work and practise involved.

Suryakumar registered the first T20I century of 2023. After the T20I series, India and Sri Lanka will lock horns in the three-match ODI series starting on January 10. All senior players will be back in the team, and Rohit Sharma will be back and lead the Indian team while Hardik Pandya will be his deputy.
