Former New Zealand cricket team's legendary batsman Ross Taylor made a huge and shocking revelation earlier about his IPL stint with the Rajasthan Royals. However, his claim has been reportedly completely denied by the BCCI officials.

On the 14th of August, news broke out that Ross Taylor has claimed in his autobiography Ross Taylor: Black & White that he was slapped by the Rajasthan Royals owners during a match against the Kings XI Punjab in the IPL 2011.

In the said to be match, Rajasthan Royals were chasing a big target of 195 runs but the Kiwi batter was dismissed LBW. He made a shocking revelation that after he returned back to the pavillion, one of Rajasthan Royals owner slapped him, however, he mentioned that it was not some serious slap but funny banter with laughter, however, he still added that it was it was play-acting.

"One of the Royals owners said to me, ‘Ross, we didn’t pay you a million dollars to get a duck’ and slapped me across the face three or four times," a part of his written paragraph reads.

Following the claims, InsideSports tried to contact a BCCI official who at that time was travelling, but still admitted that he has no clue of that what he is talking about. "I am on the road travelling now so I do not know exactly what you are talking about," the unnamed BCCI official told the InsideSports.

Talking of Ross Taylor, the Kiwi batter has represented his country in all three formats and played over 420 matches and scored over 16000 runs. He played for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in only 2011 season and before that used to play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

He also played in 2 stints with Delhi Daredevils and once with the Pune Warriors India. He played a total of 55 IPL matches and scored 1017 runs in his career.
