"Bow down to RAJAT PATIDAR" - Twitter lauds Patidar for his incredible century against LSG in the Eliminator
The right-hander came to the crease in the very first over and carried his bat through the innings. In the end, he was unbeaten on 112* off 54 balls, including 12 fours and seven maximums. RCB ended their batting innings at 207/4 in their 20 overs.
Rajat Patidar scored the fastest century of the season when he registered his maiden IPL century in just 49 balls. In the end, with a cameo from Dinesh Karthik, RCB posted a massive total.
RCB scored 84 runs off the last five overs. And now it will be interesting to see how the LSG openers go out to business. Both KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock have been in sublime form.
They are coming off an unbeaten 210-run partnership and now, in a do-or-die game, they will come all guns blazing.
On the other hand, fans who came to see Virat, Maxwell or Du Plessis score some big runs were treated to a brilliant knock from Patidar. Twitter was also flooded with praise for the right-hander.
