Danish Kaneria says these 2 teams will also not travel to Pakistan to play Asia Cup 2023 other than India

Jay Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and president of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), issued a major statement last month that the Indian team will not tour Pakistan for the next edition of the Asia Cup under any circumstances.

This did not go down well with the President of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Ramiz Raja, who responded by saying that if India does not come to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup, then the Pakistan team will also not go to India for the ODI World Cup 2023.

Recently, Raza also said that if the Indian team boycotts the Asia Cup to be held next year, then the Pakistan team will not go to India for the ODI World Cup to be held next year. All the people of the cricket world have been surprised by this statement of Raza. 

However, former Pakistan leg-spinner Danish Kaneria believes that the Pakistan Cricket Board does not have the guts to boycott the ICC event.

Danish Kaneria said, "Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) does not have the courage to boycott the ICC competition. At the same time, it does not matter to the Indian team whether Pakistan is coming to their land or not. They have a huge market from which they generate a lot of revenue. If Pakistan does not go to India to play the ODI World Cup, then it will be a big problem for them."

Danish Kaneria further said, "Pakistan will definitely go to India to play the ODI World Cup. They will be under so much pressure that they will not be able to refuse them. If Pakistan keeps away from ICC tournaments, then they may have to face a lot of problems in future."

Kaneria also added that it may also happen that apart from India, Bangladesh and Afghanistan may also refuse to play the Asia Cup 2023 in Pakistan. The people of Pakistan want the Asia Cup to be played in their country, but it will be very important for other people to take this decision as well.
