IPL 2022 has been no different and there have already been many instances of players suffering injuries. A few of them have even were also ruled out of the tournament.   • Deepak Chahar - Chennai Super Kings
  • Adam Milne - Chennai Super Kings
  • Tymal Mills - Mumbai Indians
  • Suryakumar Yadav - Mumbai Indians
  • Md. Arshad Khan - Mumbai Indians

While the injuries in some cases have been extremely negative for a franchise, a few such instances have not impacted the teams much. The ruling out of Deepak Chahar was a big blow for Chennai Super Kings. They have had to use other strategies to overcome his absence. The same is the case with the absence of Adam Milne.

Mumbai Indians is the team with most players missing the tournament due to injuries. While SKY & Tymal Mills left IPL 2022 after playing a few games, Arshad Khan was ruled out even before playing a match. For RCB, the arrival of Rajat Patidar has helped immensely. The player has done well with his timely contributions in the batting department. He came in as the replacement for the injured Luvnith Sisodia.

While RR has not named a replacement for NCN, Andrew Tye came as the replacement for Mark Wood in LSG. However, the Aussie has not got a lot of games so far.
